Google Opal Login - Sign In to Build No Code AI Mini Apps
Open one door and step into a whole lab of AI tools Google Opal Login is your gateway to building and running no code AI mini apps with just your Google account.
What Is Google Opal?
Google Opal is an experimental no-code AI mini-app builder from Google. You describe what you want in plain language (“research a topic, summarize it, and write social posts”), and Opal turns that into a visual workflow with steps like User Input Gemini Tools Output.
To use any of that, you first have to sign in with your Google account that’s where the Opal login comes in.
How Google Opal Login Works (Step-by-Step)
1. Go to the Opal website
-
Open your browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.).
-
Type the official Opal URL (for example via Google’s Labs / Opal entry page) or search for “Google Opal” and click the official Google result.
You’ll land on a page that introduces Opal and shows buttons like Try Opal, Open in Labs, or similar.
2. Click “Try Opal” or “Get started”
On the landing page, look for a call-to-action such as:
-
“Try Opal”
-
“Get started”
-
“Open in Labs”
Clicking this takes you to the Google sign-in screen if you’re not already logged in.
3. Sign in with your Google account
You’ll see the familiar Google login page:
-
Enter your Google email address (Gmail or Workspace).
-
Click Next.
-
Enter your password and complete any 2-step verification if enabled.
You must use a Google account that’s allowed to access Google Labs in your region. Some school or company accounts may restrict experimental products; if that happens, a personal Gmail account often works better.
4. Accept Google Opal / Labs terms (first time only)
The first time you log in, you may be asked to:
-
Review experimental terms for Google Labs or Opal.
-
Confirm that you understand features can change and that Opal may have usage limits.
-
Accept privacy and data conditions related to using Gemini and tools.
Click Accept or Continue to proceed.
5. Enter the Opal workspace
After a successful login, you’re taken into the Opal workspace:
-
At the top you’ll usually see tabs for App / Editor / Preview.
-
On the canvas you might see a starter “Untitled Opal app” with blocks like:
-
User Input
-
Generate
-
Output
-
From here you can:
-
Rename your app.
-
Edit each block.
-
Run and test the mini-app.
Your login session is tied to your Google account, so Opal automatically saves your work to that account.
Google Opal Login Options & Tips
Staying signed in
If you keep your Google session active in your browser:
-
You can open the Opal URL and be taken straight to your apps, skipping the sign-in screen.
-
This is convenient on your main laptop/desktop.
If you share a computer, remember to sign out from your Google account or use a private window.
Using multiple Google accounts
If you have more than one Google account (for example: personal + work):
-
When you hit the login page, you may see a list of accounts.
-
Choose the account where you want your Opal projects stored.
-
If you pick the wrong one, you can switch:
-
Click your avatar in the top-right of the page.
-
Use “Add another account” or switch accounts, then reopen Opal.
-
Sometimes an organization’s Workspace admin will block Labs products; if Opal isn’t available on your work account, switch to your personal Gmail.
